White socks! I knew I had forgotten something. Once again NSM, you are 100% correct. White socks belong in the gym, not in a bar or club.

I HATE white socks! I only wear black ones.

Very informative post, NSM!

Can you talk a little bit more about necklaces and rings? How to choose? Any "do's" and "don'ts"? Proper sizes? Anything you can think of. Thanks!

Again, glad you guys like it and agree with the socks part. But like I said, there are no hard and set rules. If you are rocking white dress shoes then you can rock white dress socks. Or like you said KS, white socks are fine with white sneakers, especially if your going to the gym. Going back to the white dress shoes, I'm currently looking for a white watch to rock with my new white dress shoes and white belt. White accessories add a lot of pop to an outfit...

@ Stealth:

Just go to a place that sells rings and keep trying on different sizes untill you find one that works for you. Keep in mind that if your hands are cold then your fingers may be up to a full size smaller. You want the rings to be tight enough where they will not fly off your hand but big enough that you can take them off without breaking out the lube. I have a go-to starting place for awesome rings there and necklaces, in the store Earth Bound.

As for necklaces (and accessories in general), keep in mind these four basic things. 1) What does it say about you? 2) How does it tie into things you are into? 3) How much attention does it get when you wear it? 4) What DHV stories can you attach to it?

For example, I am ushually wearing a cross that I got at the vatican. It is nice enough looking that it gets noticed and people comment on it. When they do, I tell them about how I got it at the vatican, it was blessed by the Pope, and I start talking about Itally and art.

GOLD! Also, next time you're in a club, notice how the most high value guys wear clothes and accessories; copy their style from head to toe. My 2c.

Thanks man! I put a lot into it so I appreciate it when others see the value of it and utilize it for themselves.
