Reminds me of a quote that really stuck with me from the Total Life Makeover conference...

"Anything you want is outside of your comfort zone....because if it was in your comfort zone, you would already have it."

A business colleague recently sent me an article on the common demoninators of successful people which touched on some of that.

Paraphrasing what the article said:
Successful people do what failures don't like to do
Very few people achieve success so therefore it is unnatural. If you do what feels natural you won't become successful, You have to do things that you don't like, don't enjoy or doesn't feel natural to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Once you get comfortable being outside your comfort zone you
are well on your way to becoming successful.

That is essentially what we do every day going out and opening sets, going to the gym, self improvement, doing things to stand out, being cocky funny, peacocking, talking to strangers, taking risks socially & romantically, role playing, being into fashion/having style, etc.
