So tomorrow is my birthday bash, so I went out and bought 2 new shirts and 2 new pairs of jeans last week. I had the jeans hemmed to fit.
Which shirt do you guys like better? The open one has a lot of grey in it and I was thinking about finding a grey undershirt tomorrow. Also, the one that I'm wearing open, can't be buttoned up, it runs too small for me to button it, but open it fits good through the shoulders.
The one buttoned up is black/blue.
The jeans I'm wearing are some CK's that I bought, but I also have a pair of Lucky jeans that I just got hemmed, but they are lighter blue.
When wearing a white undershirt do you guys normally tuck them in or leave them out?
Suggestions?
Thanks for any help you can provide!

I don't think it will be a good idea to wear that shirt un buttoned..if you have a shirt, it should look like you had it tailored and fit comfortably making you look like a relaxed confident man.
I would not wear a white undershirt with that look, I'd day get yourself some black tank tops or undershirts and wear that if any, but I suggest you leave it out all together unless you sweat like crazy.
I alway suggest for my friends to check out esquire or GQ then go from there.

Thanks Taz, what do you think of the other shirt?

I'm with Taz on the undershirt. That seems to be a very common clothing approach in the US, and I admit I don't like it at all. I think it looks a bit sloppy, to be frank. If you're doing a casual Sunday afternoon in the pub, then it's probably OK, but for a proper evening out - and a birthday bash definitely qualifies as that - leave it behind. Get a shirt that fits and button it up correctly, and if you have one wear a good necklace to complete the look.

i dont have any issues with a dress shirt unbuttoned and a t shirt underneath. i do it all the time. but i'm not liking the white t shirt. try some different colors. and i'd leave the undershirt untucked...

Thanks for the advice guys. I actually returned both of the above shirts and went to a different store, Macy's, and bought 2 more button downs, and 3 American Rag V-Necks. I ended up wearing one of the button downs with sleeves slightly rolled up and the white V-Neck underneath. I got multiple compliments last night about how I looked.
The Bday party was mostly successful! Everyone had a blast and I remember most of it! lol
Thanks again for the advice. When I get some pics I'll post a few.

Mustache needs to go. IMO.

LOL, not quite certain I could shave the stache....I do need to figure out a way to thin it out though.
I'd like to shave the stache and the goatee off for a little bit, but I need to drop more weight first, otherwise I have a complete baby face.
I returned both shirts in the above pics/links and bought 2 different shirts. Wore 1 already and it was a hit, a big hit. So I'm very happy about that.
I'm 32 btw, not married, and definitely not a pedo. LOL
