Need help finding an interesting item

I'm probably just not looking hard enough, but what do you guys wear for an inexpensive interesting item for a conversation starter.

I need help choosing one becuase I can't seem to find one that works. I have tried a shark tooth neckless, but it never got complimented like my shoes or jackets.

My style right now is blue jeans, all black vans, lanyard out of my jeans, spiked/messy hair, and a t-shirt with like quicksilver on it or something. Oh and if its cold I wear a black jacket over that. But thats it.

Help would be great

First of all give us a small back ground of what you do, and what you're about
you just completely described the highschool skater look andI don't know many girls that are in college or have a career that dig that kinda look... If you're into skating, like deep into skating you can totally make it work for you.

I'm in college right now, no job just focusing on school right now. My major is mechanical engineering and my last job was working in a machine shop. I do miss the extra money and Im thinking of getting a job at Starbucks becuase I like coffee.

I guess it is a skater look. I don't skateboard but I love surfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. I love to travel, drive fast cars, and hanging out with friends.
