Difficulties with life.

So, I have been facing some issues with my personal life. Between changing jobs a lot and becoming self absorbed in my own negative ways I realized that my life is a series of refusing to own up to my mistakes.

Now I have owned up to my mistakes and realized that now my life seems a little bit harder because I am constantly trying to not make the same mistakes twice. I am constantly trying to play catch up. I am constantly undermining my own authority, and not focusing on one endeavor at a time.

I know everyone faces hardships and it's how we choose to deal with them that makes us the people we are today or will become one day but sometimes I think to myself when am I going to not be constantly struggling? When is that day going to come where I can just show up and be like I made it? I am present.

This is just me ranting and feeling like a failure because I don't know my own worth. I will try writing once a day.

I have read the article and I found such reasoning in it that I found a copy of the audio book to listen to. In fact, I have been listening to for it about an hour now. So far so good.

It's a common theme in all religions.

As a Christian, God sent his son to suffer and die for us. If God would let his son suffer, who am I to think I won't suffer.

Buddhism has similar teachings.

But the trick is to realize its temporary and enjoy the process. And I also believe that in helping others, there is great joy.

Start to embrace rather than fight it.

The Great philosopher Joe Rogan talks about marijuana being like riding a wave. If you fight the wave, you will be swept into the ocean. If you ride the wave and accept it, it will take you to the shore. This is life. Ride the wave. You can steer it, but the more you fight, the harder it is. So instead, steer it and enjoy the ride.

Yes, I am hoping that in time I will just be a true jujitsu practitioner and go with the flow mentally as well as physical. Practice makes permanent.
