Concealed carry options

I have a friend that just tucks his gun in the back of his pants, no holster.

  I recently got my concealed carry permit, and I would prefer to have it in a holster.

Any recommendations on types of holsters that will be comfortable and still remain concealed well for a Springfield XD9?
