in all seriousness though what do you think off what he is saying.

I know you aren't a huge proponent of the high protein high fat low carb diet and are going to be a doctor, so was wondering what your opinion is and what you do for your diet?

From what I've taken away from it is that its a low carb diet and the protein shake only days are essentially a "modified" fast or a day that obviously dramatically reduces the calories hes taking in.

I've seen similar diets such as the "warrior diet' where there is just a period of 24hours of fasting which according to sources sited in the text results in increased: insulin sensitivity, lipolysis, glucagon levels, epinephrine and norepinephrine levels, and growth hormone levels. I think the two main problem with a fast though is the belief that your muscle is just going to waste away without protein (hence his protein shakes added in) and the majority of people just dont have the will power to do a fast.

Another thought I've had is that if you break down his diet you have a low (protein shake only) calorie day, med/regular calorie days, and then a high (rampage) calorie day. This ends up looking like the "zigzag" diet approach which have also been around for quite some time.

Essentially hes combined a few different dieting protocols (zigzag, fasting, keto, paleo) and made something that works well for him.

Another suggestion I've seen offered by low carb proponents, although not by this author, is that if your training is more endurance based, ala crossfit, to avoid the low carb thing. The low carb high protien seems to work better for more strength focused athletes ie strongman, powerlifting, and bodybuilding.

Took two days off cause of the holidays and out of town but back on strict diet of protein and few carbs as possible.

worked out today hard and loved it.

I like when my shirt looks like it was thrown in a pool

Actually did this :D- but now I'm doing 50 with the jump being pulling my knees to my chest and landing which makes it difficult.

Decided to go through expenses- I am plain well enough in poker to support myself and then some but at the same time don't have a ton of money to spend which think is

parking- 3 5 5 5 1 3 3 3 10 3 3 3= 47 on parking for the month... kind of ridiculous considering I live a mile from campus.

atm fee0 2 2 2 2 1 3 3= 31 on atm fee for a month---

consider these frivolous.

fast food= 9 3 6 5 8 5 5 8 2 5 6 2 2 2 8 8 4 11 8 3 3 3 2 7 8 2 2= 137

consider these somewhat frivolous cuz generally me getting something out of vending machine and have been traveling a lot so tough to prep meals in a hotel room. but fine with

Tucson trip- 16 31 13 18 15 9 37 15 4 2= 159 for that trip = completely awesome with!!

vegas trip- 210 30 30 22 22 12 48 25 19 28 14 31= 485 = ehhh. not too fond of having a big night and blowing it on a trip.

disneyland trip= 150. for school.

sex store- 90- frivolous but at the same time worth it.

nationwide- 140 too much need to switch to geek

food- 200- had a lot of fast food so I am cool with

clothes hair cuts- 100

on top of rent 450 and car payment 350= 800...

so quite a bit spent.

but at same time took a lot of trips and also went up north for a weekend.

if decided not to travel every weekend would be fine but what fun is that :)

TBH completely hating being back home.

but goals for while I am here.

break it off entirely with ex gf. she's still hanging around a bit.

make 4g playing cards.

play as much cards as possible.

do 2 things everyday to make myself a better man.

this includes 3 approaches, reading a book, career work, and working out.

have an interview tomorrow with frito lay for an scm internship. well see. pretty disheartened as of late with my internship search but just think I am pissed at myself for getting to final round of internship interviews with Amazon and coming up shortttttttt. fuck. thought I got it too.
