I like your furniture and your set up for the most part. But does it make your room seem smaller than it is? That's what it looks like in the second pic. Could just be the layout of the room but you might try rearranging it a bit. And do you find the tv on top of the fireplace distracting? I set my tv on top of our fireplace mantel and it drove me nuts to have the light flicker right under the tv.

Thanks Jay-T. It is an awkwardly shaped room. I did it that way purposely. Behind the couch is the entrance, so needed walking room there. The round chair it located there to separate the "living room" area from the "dining room" are. I will take a few more pics later and it will make more sense.
About the fireplace, I am honestly not sure. It has been very nice recently and I have not really had it on. It is an electronic fireplace that came with the big TV stand:). The 2 times I turned it on, the girls really liked it (mood setting) and we did not watch whatever was on TV very long:)
I like that it looks real, and that I can control how big or small the flame gets and how much heat it puts out with a remote control:)

Hey so where is a good place to get a bed like yours? Did you go to mattress store or did you order if off amazon? I'm moving into my new house on Tuesday and need to do some furniture shopping also

I got mine at Badcock furniture. A large furniture store. I did not shop around a lot. Just saw one I really liked, and got it.
