And you'd be amazed what you can find at Thrift shops. But the shoes are a cardinal sin. Its one of the most important parts. You communicate a ton before you ever open your mouth and the first shirt and those shoes are kind of a game killer. No big deal man, we all have some bad outfits. Just get a little bit at a time.

Not many places. One place that I have shopped at but rarely is Marc Ecko Cut n' Sew. My roommate works there, he's given me discounts before, but it's still a kick to the wallet.

I wasn't being serious with that. Just joking around.

Is it just me, or has anyone else picked up that our friend Coqui4 here kinda looks like young John Favreau?

Now, I answer your question with a question.... What type of girls are you trying to pick up? Are you trying to pick up that hot little number with the cocktail dress at the Night Club? Are you trying to pick up that devilishly sexy girl next door that is the manager of Hollister? Does the dominatrix from HotTopic make your mouth water?

As for clunky shoes??? I have a few pairs of shoes I wear out. A lot of people comment on my harley-esque low top shoes or my snake embroider leather denim zip up boots. They aren't high end designer (actually, got them at Sears for like $20; GBX). The key is..... they are part of who I am. They are part of my look.

So, first off, find out what you WANT your style to be. Then be you with your style. You can seriously dump a retarded amount of cash on a look that just doesn't fit who you are.... and then you end up even worse off; broke, dateless, and a wardrobe that doesn't fit your personality.

Just my opinion.

Lol! Jon Favreau? That's the first I've heard that comparison. As a matter a fact, that would be nice, dude is loaded after the Ironman movies.

That's a good question. But should it matter what clothes I wear to attract a chick from a certain style. I've seen some rocker girls that looked banging but I don't think that means I should go and look goth to hook up with them, right?

Inital attraction plays a small key. So the way you dress can attract certain stereotypes. if I was to wear a mickey mouse shirt tucked into jeans with no belt, and wearing running shoes I probably wouldn't attract any quality women. Most women would probably ignore you or tell you to go away if you even approached them.

As long as you have a style that works for you as a person and is congruent with your lifestyle, you should be good. but if you want a rocker chick it wouldn't hurt to standout to them.

Lol @ picturing you in a Mickey mouse shirt and hat then doing your yawn thing to show the guns, then seeing Korean or Japanese FOB girls looking all confused. I think you should do it just for fun.
