On Shoes

Post by Fame »

a little fashion advice on shoes.

if you are a pick up artist, and it is night time when you are sarging, you should always, ALWAYS, wear dress shoes...Gigantor and Vann will testify. We took a kid out with us and he was wearing sneakers...not even good sneakers...they did not let him in the BAR (not a club) A BAR.

So you might be asking...what is a good shoe and rules for wearing shoes.

A good shoe is one that a woman would probably compliment on instantly, isn't super expensive, and looks nice and clean. examples of good shoes can be found on http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/men/shoes

I realize that those might seem expensive...however you will notice that they do not have a BRAND name showing on the outside...So if you can find a look alike for cheaper? who will know the difference? no one.

There is one important rule about shoes. they should match the color of your belt. ALWAYS.

there is a casual shoe that works and will get you in most clubs, and that is a pair of Chucks ( Converse Chuck Taylor's) and their look a likes.

I have 3 pairs of 30 dollar shoes that I wear to the club (none from aldo, they just look like they are), and one pair of BLACK AND WHITE Chucks that I keep clean (even the laces). you can get your own CUSTOM MADE chuck taylors online for roughly the same price as new ones at converse.com (boots are good too. like the ones on aldo, vann has a nice nice pair of boots that even I am jealous of.

I hope this was helpful. If you haven't been wearing a belt, start wearing one, you will look more presentable to a woman of class.

Since I got into PU I have been polishing up all kinds of things but it's amazing how much attention a girl would give to a man's shoes. They're probably the most common item of clothing they have been commented on. One girl even said that shoes says a lot about a man so do put an effort.

If you don't know anything about shoes, then take a fashionable guy friend or a girl friend who's trendy. Buy them lunch if you have to. Places that have really damn good shoes for damn cheap are:

Nordstrom Rack
TJ Maxx
Marshall's
Ross

This is in order from my personal experience. Anyone else, including Fame, who can add to the list so we could help each other out, then do it!

Small but crucial point: Don't get into the habit of just wearing the same shoes. Vary them, women notice.

I'd admit how many I have, but I fear it might call my heterosexuality into question!!

Fame's initial point and Vann's follow-up are spot-on - I would say that like Vann I probably get more compliments about my shoes than other item of clothing, despite them oftentimes only being semi-visible in a dark club or bar. My female friends say that shoes are one of the first things they look at on a guy, along with fingernails - both show attention to detail, and believe me when I say that women notice everything, even if we don't.

I would start out wearing only black or brown, as appropriate. And follow Fame's advice and match your belt and shoes (or get trousers that don't require a belt). Once you get comfortable with the basics of dress shoes there is plenty of variety; besides black and brown I have dress shoes in red, blue, dark purple (two pairs) and also two pairs of black-and-white co-respondents (which women love). But believe me red dress shoes are not for beginners :D

Cheers,
KS

I don't think she should question your heterosexuality if you put your dick in her mouth.
Shoes are cool.
That reminds me KS, you should write a post on basic hygene...I've been out with guys who don't cut their nails, have bad breath, plaque, monobrows, WHITE dress shirts with dirty collars and sweat stains etc..... those little things hurt your appearance so much it's ridiculous...

and KS. props for red shoes...I don't think i can pullem off yet, but soon

I was out with my bro this weekend. He has a friend that is a model. She got us on the guest list for the VIP room at a swanky bar. She was there with all her model friends. We got to drinking early in the day and it never even dawned on me. We got to the club and he was refused entry for wearing sneakers. He texted the chick to let her know and her and two friends came out to greet us. I really really wanted to ditch him. ;)

Bought some Aldo shoes, with longer pointy toe ends.

Sexuality was called into question by some random guys.

Bothered me at first.

Then I realized I was Metz. Mother fucking Metz.

Girls loved them. Best investment I've made in my fashion.

Moral of the story:
Don't be a pussy and give into random guys.
Be a man and get women to approach you based on shoes alone.
