Update:

Thinking of switching TKD facilities. The one I currently go to is really great and well known, but the commute is starting to take a bit of a toll. There's another TKD gym closer and the time frame for the classes fits my schedule. Going tomorrow to check it out and see how it is. They also have an affiliated gym above for Muay Thai only, which may work out since I want to do Muay Thai as well.

Got karaoke planned for the upcoming Saturday and two dates, one on Thurs and Fri. Started some recordings for a project I hope to have completed in the next few months.

Put a hold on my hip hop class search until April. Will update again in about a week or so to keep myself accountable in some capacity.

Checked out the new TKD facility and it seems pretty cool. Taking two classes this week to get the feel for it and see if it's worth it. Right now, it would be $150/month for unlimited classes for both TKD and Muay Thai. They have 6 classes a week for each. If I were to do all 6 classes for both styles (12 classes a week), each class would come out to $3.15 per session. Not a bad investment and I would consider that once my stamina can handle it.

2nd class kicked my ass, but in a great way. Spoke with the grandmaster and master to see what my outline would be. Taking 3 classes a week for the 3 months, then will do 4 a week thereafter. This allows me to go to my dance classes on Fridays, and I will be hitting the gym after each class since it's on the way home. Gotta rebudget my finances, but I should be good once I stop spending $$$ on lunch and make lunch at home. Gotta discipline myself a little more.

Budgeted my finances and holy crap I spent too much $ on junk I don't need. Finished the week of taekwondo classes and I'm very happy I switched. Officially got my bachelor's degree in the mail and going out tonight to celebrate. Recorded a segment for a dvd I'm working on and also practiced some close-up magic. Tried out a new magic routine on about 15 people today and all went successfully well.

Going to record another segment tomorrow for the dvd I'm making. Also trying out this new spot for ice cream that uses alcohol for some of their ice cream. Could be a good D2 spot when it gets warm enough.

Quick update:

Recording another two segments tomorrow for my dvd. Found this cool looking bridge by my house that would work perfectly with what I'm recording. Haven't had time to practice my new routine (for close up magic), this week so will do a bit tomorrow to see how many times I can successfully do it.

Another week of taekwondo out of the way. Easily the hardest week so far, but I fucking love it. Hitting the gym on days I don't do tkd because I have to look sexy as fuck for my graduation. Told the school I'm 15lbs lighter than I really am, for my cap and gown. Got 2 months to get down and I'm already down 5lbs so def doable.

Got a date today, going to go for a lay and work on that aspect since I don't usually try for lays on the first date.

Had a family emergency as soon as I met up with my date last week. She understood and gladly rescheduled for tomorrow. Got a lot of errands today, but will be going out tonight to enjoy the good weather we're having.

My TKD instructors told me I should go for the belt test next week, even if it is a few weeks earlier than anticipated. Decided to do it (if they feel i'm ready, why not?). Getting on my DJ grind again and have my first gig booked in over a year for next saturday.

Will be starting Muay Thai next week, 1 day a week to get me started and see how it goes (it's right before my TKD class, not sure how I will hold up yet).

Update:

Work has taken up much of my mon-fri last 4 weeks, but I still have made time to go out. Not really on dates, just hanging out with the girls and seeing if it's worth pursuing (honestly, most have rather sub-par lives. Nothing too exciting and gets me disinterested. Anyone else experience this?).

I'm almost done recording all the videos I need, then need to work on editing. I'm still practicing this cool new magic trick, mostly the tone of my performance (whether I want to be funny, serious, etc.).

Working on getting a DJ gig booked for a color 5k run festival in August. Went up a belt class in TKD, happy about that, but had t stop Muay Thai (too much to do in limited time) for now.

Thinking of stepping up my # of approaches per day. I've been doing 2-3, due to my commute from work and stuff. This weekend and forward, I will aim to open, at least, 10 women, get 5 number closes. I tend to avoid going to clubs, not my scene, but I'll try to do a few approaches in clubs too.

Got a really cool dinner party tomorrow, Great Gatsby themed and got an outfit for it. Went to Macy's today and asked a few people to help me pick something out.

Hoping to update in a few days and not a month again.

Haven't updated in almost two months. This is a post px update:

Going out a lot more, opening everywhere and already have gotten 20 # closes in the last two weeks. My birthday is coming up so I have to keep making good approaches and pushing the interactions a bit.

I'm also looking to add some type of Kali or BJJ into my training mix. Also looking to add another dance class. With this, I should have a full/busy schedule every day, learning skills that I want to learn.

Will try to post a more extensive update soon.
