Rebranding myself

Post by sweetcheeks »

So I'm not sure if I've driven myself to writing this self rant via lack of sleep, stress, or whatever but here I am. It's 3 am, tonight is the first night this week I have not gotten some ass from various girls. I think I've been feeling a void in my life with my current debacherious lifestyle, and frankly I need to start making better life choices.

So I've come up with a short list of behaviors that I've seen in myself lately that I need to fix and start changing. So here comes a little self loathing:
- I feel that I always have to be the center of someone's attention.
- I have been excessively drinking, a lot.
-I've been on a tare of hooking up with girls that are below what my standards should be
- Not giving school enough effort
- I've been gambling a lot/poor financial decisions
- I feel like I'm upset towards woman for being woman
- I feel like I get ignored in conversations, and have to repeat myself
-Also I'm a shitty listener and cut people off in groups when they're talking (its kind of like I have a fear that I'll never have a turn to talk).
- I haven't pushed myself outside of my comfort zone in a while.
-I don't know what I want in life yet

Anyways the good news is that these are all things that I do, so therefore I can change them. i'm going to work on turning them into positive affirmations, goals, values, and incorporate a vision tomorrow.
To be continued

The good news is, that these are all things that I do, so they're things that I can change.

my vision:
March 2015

I got woke up by a barrage of good morning texts from the three gorgeous girls I’ve been dating. One is from a beautiful blonde dancer that is working towards her MBA, the others are from a brunette and red head that are students working towards their engineering and science degrees. I know I can walk up to any girl and have her fall for me. I’m confident and know this, because I’ve been pushing myself past my comfort levels, and having coaching calls with bravo to help me improve.

My social life is awesome because I’ve been pushing myself to grow and be more friendly. I turned down an invite to go out shooting with a group of girls, because I already have plans to go to rock climbing and Jeeping in Moab with my best friends.

I have never been more wealthy than I am now, I’ve been a fiend at investing and using my money wisely. My investments and residual income from AP are making it so my I can spend my time and money on my passions. I have a bad ass wardrobe that I get complimented on all the time. My nest egg is starting to grow and my monthly payouts are enough to cover rent right now and some other expenses. I’m hardest working and highest selling first year at ap and already have sold 20 accounts and have 5 friends that I’ve recruited that are going to go sell with me.

I am so happy I have to pinch myself because I feel like I must be dreaming. Everything in my life is going great. I’ve been making good choices and guiding my life to this point. Nothing is an accident or mistake, I’ve taken conscience control and driven myself here.

affirmations:
I am an awesome alpha male that gives validation to others. I do not seek to be the center of attention, but I am rooted and know my inherit awesomeness.
I have a very high standard in my life. I only accept the best life has to offer. There is a limitless supply of everything, I will always get what I work for.
I have very good habits of sobriety and dedicating myself to school and to self improvement.
I am fiscally wealthy and invest my money on things that are making me a better human being. I would rather burn my money than go gambling.
I am an amazing friend to both men and woman. I treat woman with respect and have many deep and lasting friendships with high caliber men and woman.
I am an amazing listener, I always listen, instead of waiting my turn to speak. When I am engaged in conversation I give my 100% undivided attention to the speaker.
I am incredibly self aware, and centered on myself. I do not repeat myself, and if someone chooses to ignore me it is their lose not mine.
I am hard working, disciplined, and get the most joy from helping others.

Here's something that might help you. For one week, imagine that whoever you're talking to has a big ol' neon flashing sign above their head that says "MAKE ME FEEL IMPORTANT!" One week. They'll love you for it.

It's going pretty good. Its damn hard at times. I still find myself trying to steal the show at times, but I'm improving.

I feel like I've connected a lot better with some of my roommates, and that the conversations also seems to flow a lot better.
