About a year recovering from a back surgery and it appears my left knee will not be back to normal any time soon. So Doc says I will need to find a new career.
I was hauling cars, and it was fine. Decent money, but in reality, you are always on the road and little home time.
I choose to think this is just the life changing experience I needed to get out of my comfortable life, and make some changes. I have applied to a few colleges, Hopefully next Fall I will be attending UGA to start the next part of my life.
Also, after the Workers comp case is settled. I will have much more time to go out and be social. Until then, my lawyer recommends to lay as low as possible and assume I am always under surveillance.
I am glad I have found the Bravohood and look forward to sharing my future adventures with you all.

Re: Starting Over
Any thoughts on what career you want to focus on next or what you want to study?
Hope your case turns out in your favor!

Re: Starting Over
The two I am interested in now are Management Information System. And Marketing. I worked in network administration while in the Navy.
Marketing I think I will be good at because I always naturally critiqued places I visit. I often think I know a better way to set up a room, display a product, etc.. That is why those are the 2 areas I am interested in now.

Are you in a place where you can get yourself set up for college education - get into business marketing somewhere?

Re: Starting Over
I will set up for college financially after my workers comp settlement. I still have 2 years of GI Bill to use or lose also. Although a back surgery sucks. It came just in time so I can use GI Bill before I would lose it. Atl has many marketing jobs, and many UGA alumni. Hopefully that can be helpful when the time comes.

Re: Starting Over
Atlanta is also a wonderful place to learn game. I believe we have the largest concentration of PUA's out of any city in the US.
But you do realize that UGA, is fucking far from the city right?
Also what kind of case do you have that may have you under surveillance? More and more companies are doing background checks and you don't want to go to college for a job you'll never be able to get because of a criminal history.

Workers Comp case. Hopefully done with in 3 weeks.
I think ATL is about an hour from Athens. Athens has about 60% female students, target rich environment:)
No criminal record.

Like I said, Fucking far. Athens IS a target rich environment. But Atlanta is richer. And there are PUAs here. Good ones. One of them is a coach at Bravo's Project X program. How often do you get to the city?

Re: Starting Over
Not often right now. I live about 2 hrs south of Atl now. In 3 weeks my workers comp mediation will be over, at that time I will likely move to Atl for the summer at least. I have not yet been accepted to UGA, they are my preference. It would not hurt for me to check out some of the Universities in Atl also. I will not be able to do physically demanding labor now, so I need college to start a new career.
Right now the town I am in has about an 80-90% male ratio in downtown clubs, thanks to Ft Benning. So I definitely need to move:)
