Got my car back today...

Has some bad damage at the front, but I should be able to fix most, then take to my mates shop for him to do all the mechinical stuff, radiator etc.

hoping to get it all done for 1000 to 1500...

going to start tonight by taking all the broken shit off and working out exactly what I need to go and buy...

towing company tried to rip me off by charging 14 days storage when it has only been there for 10 days. he ended up charging for 7 so worked out better, just had to call him out...

Well, worked out to fix my car is going to be 1000 to 1500. got most of the broken parts off, now just need to go and get replacements then find a day to put it all back together.

Nailed my group presentation at uni, went first and was nervous but had everyone laughing at the start so made it easier. thought i didnt do that well until I saw everyone else, easily best in the class so happy with that, I spent probably 15 hours getting on top of all the research so I didn't need notes and pretty much just filled in the blanks on the fly.

haven't been going out as much, but still getting approaches in when I am out and about. Beaches have been great with all this hot weather in Sydney. so will def hit that up again this weekend.

Back on my MTB twice a week at the moment. been doing some basic bodyweight stuff at home and going to sign back up to the gym in the next week or two.

Quit smoking now for 4.5 months, haven't even gone close to breaking and saving massive dollars, a pack in Australia is like $18 now and soon will be $20 almost $1 for each one!! my secret this time champix, worked miracles, was smoking heaps before the date I was scheduled to quit, then bang next day stopped and haven;t looked back.

Just got back from the outback, had a crazy weekend, got to see my two baby sisters who aren't babies anymore and relax in some place where no one lives, that seems to have better phone reception than the middle of the city.

Completed today an entire month free of alcohol, doesn't seem like much, but for me is close to a record and also coming up on 5 months of no smoking cigarettes.

did my back two weeks ago and could hardly walk for a few days, but it is back to normal this week so getting back on my bike and going to re-join the gym this week. have no car so will be running or riding there when I go = less time on a tredmill and more time outside.

I need to get my dermal reset in my forearm, It pulled out one morning about 6 months ago and is slowly healing, Does anyone know if this is posible to do, i.e put the dermal back in the same spot..

Also looking at other piercings, I looking to get a new one in the next few months but I might change my mind and get a tattoo. I have never been a fan of tattoos and don't like the idea of some marking on my skin that will always be seen, but I have seen those tattoos that are only visible under black light? it is a UV reactive ink, and this is something I would consider, but still undecided..

School is on break but I am still keeping up the hours of studying, need to have my research report done in 21 days so am getting onto it early. I still have a lot of reading to do even before I start to think about writing.

Had a fairly quiet week...

Signed up for a new 24 hour gym near my house, will start up on wednesday, cant do monday or tuesday due to uni..

Got a new haircut from a decent shop in Parramatta. have been going to some dodgy lebos in bankstown for the last year and they did a fucking shit job, these new lads actually cut it properly with scissors so its looking heaps sharper... its more expensive but ten times better

Still waiting to hear from the cops if I am going to lose my licence, its been 5 weeks now so just have to keep waiting...

Got my grades back for my presentation. 9/10 not bad considering it was basically a test run for the research report and we really had no idea which way to go... easily best score in the class so happy with that.. just need to get stuck into the report now... due in 18 days...

The week ahead - have uni starting again on Tuesday, so spending tonight getting ready for class. today work on research report at work

Wednesday trying to line up a date with a greek chick I met before...

Weekend, going to try and go out gaming on Friday night, fleet review and fireworks on Saturday might go to that. taking sisters to concert on sunday and mum to dinner while we are waiting for that to finish. Monday is public holiday so get some stuff done at home and work on report for uni.

Pretty sore this week from training, knew it was gonna happen but it doesn't make it hurt any less...

Had a date on wednesday night, first one in a few weeks. got her to come meet closer to my house because I had to catch the train to get there. Went to a quiet bar for a coffee, overall it went okay but not great, kino, had her laughing, was there for 2 hours chatting, went for a K close twice but no dice. she has been messaging me on the weekend but im not that attracted to her so I don't know what to do... she is cool but im just not attracted to her...

Got all my studying done, about halfway through my first draft for the research report. up to date on all my lectures and reading.

didn't end up getting out on Friday night, but hit the town on saturday, didn't go as well as I expected, made some approaches but nothing of significance happen so havent done a field report because it is just that same as last time...

This week:

No tutorial this week, so more time to spend studying tonight.

Going out wednesday specifically for pick up, and going out for a few hours friday/saturday again

Thursday night is gym and studying

Working on a gym schedule, and diet so will post that up soon as well...

Did you post up a FR for the date? If so link it in with your posts here so we can check it out.

Then again if your not attracted to her you already know what to do... on to the next one brother.

What happened with the car? I might've missed it but sounds like a car wreck or something?

Hey man

I wrote one up, but didn't post it, because there wasn't really anything I shouldnt have already known, and my charger fucked up so I cant turn on my laptop right now.

But yeah, I wasn't expecting too much, but wanted to try a few different things and get out of my head about this no driving thing...

I crashed it about 6 weeks ago, long story short, accelerator jammed, lost control, went into someone yard. I had been drinking so didn't wait for the police. They are fining me for neg driving and want to charge me for DUI. so waiting to find out... also have to pay for my car to get fixed if that happens because insurance wont cover it.

Got my court date sorted, 6 November… going to get a suspension and a fine, looking at 6 – 12 months, and somewhere between 500 – 1000 fine.

Back into the gym well and truly now, and feeling it. I knew it was going to hurt but fuck me I am in pain, though it is good pain, what do they say again… weakness leaving the body.

Pushed back a week on my plan and going to get the rest of my body back into training mode this week then start hitting it hard from Sunday this week.

Almost finished my research report, it is due this Friday. Just got to go over and make sure everything makes sense and probably re-write a few parts, then do references and an abstract.

Pick up was slack last week, didn’t go out during the week, went out Saturday night and tried but had a bit of AA.

Ordered a new tailored shirt for the races in a couple of weeks online, found this company in china that does some decent looking stuff for a decent price, not cheap but not a rip-off like anywhere in Aus. Should be arriving soon. Want to add a piece every two weeks, pair of selvage jeans next week.

Also grabbed some more bottles for the home bar, Baileys and Chambord, will be trying to add a bottle every 2/3 weeks.

Will post what I have done with my workout plan tonight when I get home.

But a brief rundown - this is for the first four weeks, then will change up

4 days training
Broken into 2 x 2

1 – Chest, Back, Arms x 2 per week
2 – Core, Shoulders, Legs x 2 per week

I walk every day for more than 1 hour, and usually will ride my bike or walk/run to gym 6 k round trip
Going low reps 8 sets 5, rest 1 minute between sets
Reverse pyramid
Starting on around 70-80% max weight, then slowly down
Timing and form is main focus.
+ lots of compound sets, i.e dumbell press, flyes, and push ups with no break between exercises
