What'cha gonna hunt way up there? Moose? Bear? Deer?
Please say moose. I would love to bow hunt moose. Of course with my luck it would pull my arrow out with his teeth and stomp me into little Mad Max meatballs.

I hunt deer and rabbits.
We've also got ducks, geese, black bear, moose, elk, caribou, . The last three are even farther north of me though. lol

And yeah you might want a really high tree stand. The moose are pretty scary if you miss!

Unfortunately you'd have to go through an outfitter for moose as a non Canadian. I'd recommend that you hunt in Alberta or BC. Amazing terrain and more moose than Manitoba. Sadly the moose here have been over hunted.

Lol

I've finished more chickens than I can count with my bare hands.
Getting that close to a deer would be pretty tough. They've got an insane sense of smell and hearing.

You truly live in a sportsman's paradise. Do you have any pics of your deer? In magazines, the Canadian deer look like horses compared to ours.
