Critique my "out and around" outfit

Post by Gnosis »

I've put this together as my outfit that I wear when I'm just going to the bookstore, mall, etc. Only difference is I'm usually wearing dark jeans, but am wearing shorts here because I just got back from the gym. I like the contrast between the dark jacket & white V-neck, and since my lower arms are exposed, I accessorize.

I'm no fashion expert, but looks wannabe gangsta to me. I like the glasses, but not the hoodie or the pants.

I could see that, but with the hoody not being baggy (and usually wearing with very well fitted jeans with nice shoes), I'm not sure it comes off that way when it's all together. You think that makes a difference?

Sure, it could, if its congruent with who you are then rock that shit out.

Ever go to the mall and ask a hot girl's opinion on how you're dressed? Especially one that works in fashion? Its a great place to start.

You know, I always hear on here say to do that, but have yet to think of it while out. Thanks for the advice bro, will definitely have to do that.

BTW, you can get those glasses for only $40 and they hold up great. Wear them much more than another pair I paid three times that amount for. Let me know if you're interested in buying a pair and I'll send you the Amazon link.

Just because of your facial structure etc, it does come off a little bit wanna be gangsta.

As you say, you rock it with well fitted jeans and nice shoes? Why are you going smart downstairs, and then crazy casual upstairs? Most people who do this contrast, it is the other way round and it works.

My advice, if you are going to dress casual, do it all over. The hoody and t are plain.

From this, even if you are going to casual places there is no reason not to still look good, or dressed up. Drop the hoody, and look for a good cardigan or sweater even. Still casual, but just makes the look more complete. Or, get a casual jacket.

If you are going with casual shoes, then lose the hood up and over your cap and maybe even the cap. I am not sure what look your avatar you are after, if you give me that info can probably give some more appropriate advice! Chur brother.
