“Knowing how to feed yourself in the wilds is empowering since it is not dependent on ‘the system.’ Hunting and gathering is also your birthright as a member of the human race. Somewhere in your heritage, your forbearers tracked, hunted, foraged, and lived fulltime with the natural world. It is deep in our being.” -Tony Nester

THIS….this hit me like a hammer.

I’ve taught skills to men for over 16 years, skills that can keep them alive and safe, or help them take control of the relationships in their lives.

But I didn’t know basic knowledge that our ancestors did, and the skills that kept them alive and safe. Skills that have almost been lost through time.

I didn’t know what to do if the water in our town became undrinkable (already predicting Lake Erie and Florida is going to be dealing with this year) and we all have heard about the FLINT water crisis.

What if there was a natural disaster like an earthquake, a volcano eruption, a tsunami, or even just your run of the mill emergency flooding from storms (TEXAS) or tornados? Which happen every year.

What if there was a food shortage, like right now in Venezuela.

What if from a giant list of other reasons you either had to get off the grid, or  just got lost?

I didn’t.

I have LOTS of cool man skills, but I didn’t even have a water stockpile at my house (FEMA says to have at least 2 weeks worth, you have that RIGHT???).

If the SHTF and I wasn’t able to keep my loved ones safe….I have failed them as a man.

I knew I had to level up in this area, but it was so hard trying to find someone who is LEGIT in the survival world, and the amount of information out there was just overwhelming. Then I heard about Tony Nester through my martial arts instructor who has signed up for one of his classes.Tony

Tony is one of those guys who likes to go out into the wild and can live off the land. He is so good at doing and teaching this, that guys come to him from all over the world to learn, even some pretty badass military guys.

I signed up for the same one day course of his with my GF and we both loved it….and wanted more.

Later we drove up to Flagstaff and took a 3 day course from him, it was even better and it left me wanting even more.

Since then Tony and I have become friends and I’ve been fortunate enough to train with him quite a bit and am already signed up for more of his classes!

*The Deadfall I made that will get me food in the wild*

Like always, I share stories with my Bravohood brothers about cool new things I am into, and guys started asking me about which class of his should they take. I would always respond back with “ALL OF THEM!!!”

Unfortunately, not everyone has the ability to take off weeks/months from work, can afford multiple trips, and can unplug from the rat race like I can, to learn this skills. But this got me thinking…

*I made fire by rubbing 2 sticks together!*

Last year I put on an EPIC tactical class, what if this year we put on an even MORE EPIC survival class?
I talked to my coaches and the attendees from the previous class, I sat down with Tony and planned out what we thought the absolute most important skills you need to have are, and after many months of planning, I can now officially announce that we have put together the absolute best class on wilderness and urban survival that I have ever seen!

Normally to cover just some of the skills you will learn here, you would have to go to MULTIPLE classes, from different instructors, some that last 1-2 weeks EACH, and would cost 10’s of thousands of dollars in total. Some of the ADVANCED skills you will learn in this class and then put into practice…you might not even be able to learn unless you are connected (Fortunately because of me, you now are!)

You might even be worried about all the survival gear you will need go find and buy for THIS class and how much that will cost…

But like I said, we planned out the BEST CLASS WE COULD!

And the best part, virtually every piece of gear you will need for this class, WE WILL PROVIDE!

Well actually that is the 2nd best part, the best part is THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS COURSE!

Sounds pretty awesome doesn’t it?

All you need to bring with you is the clothes you will wear, a few personal items, and a tent and sleeping bag. Actually the tent and sleeping bag you can ditch if you REALLY want to be one with nature during this course…but I would still bring in case there is rain.

If you do need to get a few pieces of gear, there is an REI in town which you can order and have gear sent to, or just pick up. I will email you the official list of what you need when you sign up, and Tony and I will be happy to help you if you have any questions.

The class will be in Flagstaff Arizona, Sept 1-4 (which we specifically picked because the weather should be great and the edible plants will be in season).
The price of the class is only $1,550

Included in this course is hundreds of dollars worth of gear, you will be able to use and take home with you after!
