Year End Review & Reflections

Post by Methos »

I'd like anyone willing to reply with their thoughts on how far they've come in 2013 and any goals or what you feel is next for you in 2014.

Posted in Lifestyle section because this covers all aspects of life (not just pickup)

I'll go first...

I've been at the Bhood just over a year now and applying myself in pickup seriously for that long. In the 5 years before coming here I only banged 3 girls. 3 girls in 5 years! In 2013 I banged 5 girls. I have been on more dates this year than the last 15 years put together! and I have been on dates with several girls I consider 9s or 10s in looks. I can't tell you how big a deal that was for me to break through that barrier. Now that I've done it a few times I no longer get caught up giving undue value to a girl based on her looks.

The truth is since PX I haven't been cold approaching and at the same time I have 100x leveled up my online game. I am super excited at the idea of how much more I could level up IF I bring cold approaching to same level as my online game in 2014.

I see myself as a high value guy now who is well on the road to becoming the alpha. I already am the alpha of my own world and reality. All that is missing from that is to build that social circle of cool people and lead that group. It's not necessarily something I want or need. I see it as the next logical step in this adventure.

Not just from the Bhood and you guys but from some of the experiences I've had with the women I've met because of applying myself... I have had some wonderful experiences and taken something valuable away from each of them. For instance one of the girls really taught me how to appreciate all the little things in life and I'm still reminded everyday not to take anything for granted. Because of that experience with her this cup of coffee I am drinking is that much more awesome!

Great thread, was thinking same same thing but didn't get round to it!

Things I'm proud of 2013:

Passing HGV (lorry driving license) and all theory first time - healthy pay rise

Attending 2 day health and safety course and becoming health and safety guy at work (despite being the youngest)

Passing 2 day public speaking/being a trainer course

Upgrading my car

Much deeper into meditation

Cool day trips/camping trips

Awesome holidays w gf, small one in jan then to Rome - vatican, sistine chapel, st peters etc

3 months voluntary work in hospital

Getting an A in maths by studying at home using just textbooks and YouTube (couple sessions with mums friends son but he wasn't that good and I didn't bother w him anymore)

Evening school science class

Setting up regular mistress that knows I have a gf, plus gf is cool w it

Good post Methos. I've been writing a similiar one and will post soon.

What do you think is your greatest achievement in 2013 that you had to work for? What are your goals/objectives for 2014 and where do you want to be in this journey one year from now?

Love this man. I remember seeing you in the flash chats and wondering if you were gonna stick around or better yet how much you really needed to learn.

I met you at PX and the transformation from the beginning to end is probably the most tremendous change I've seen in any individual.

You are living proof that with enough work and an open mind anyone can turn things around and make not only women work for you but also becoming a better man inside and out.

Keep it up bro. I'll post something like this later. Posts like this I feel are super important.

Very proud of your transformation buddy! I remember when you first started posting here on the BH and I was like "Who the hell is this guy?" After meeting you at PX and seeing your transformation since then, I am blown away. You should be super proud of yourself too. I see only great things ahead of you!

Thanks guys. This thread just isn't for me though. It's for everyone to reflect on where they were a year ago and where they are now.

I think it was just breaking the mold and FINALLY doing something different. I use to repeate the same steps in my game and was hoping for different results. I've had so many firsts for this year and those have changed my views on women and life. Simple example that comes to mind is the direcct sexual approach... something I had never tried before. Thanks DJ for helping with that!

Just actually doing it, sticking with it, and not giving up. One of my closest life long friends has not been supportive for me in this journey. He makes fun of pickup and thinks all the field reports are made up bullshit. Don't really want to go into more details about it. It's just a sad situation because he is the biggest AFC I know and is on his way to being the 40 year old virgin.

Something else, a few of my close friends know about this place and that I spent tons of $$ to go to PX. All of them told me it was insane and tried to talk me out of it. Yet when I told all those same friends several weeks later that I had decided I was doing it and going they all went from knocking the idea to telling me how awesome it is that I am trying to do something about my game and how they wouldn't have the balls to try.

Just interesting how when you're seeking advice and tyring to decide on something you get one response vesus when you're leading and telling them what you're doing you get a different reaction...
