So we have been working on our vision, and locking our values

It is a continuous process, especially when you're growing, experiencing new things, developing new perspectives

Now that you have an idea of your vision (the big picture, ultimate goal), and your values (that will help guide your decisions on the how to get there):

We are now going to help you work on your goals and how to get there. I've seen some of you have a list of goals. Time to make them SMART goals. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely)

So instead of just 'I want to go to the gym', it can be "Go to YMCA with individual workout plan for 5 days a week with 2 days rest at 7pm"

This is the big picture, down to to specifics:

My VISION is to lead a healthier lifestyle and building a solid athletic body where I am pushing 200lbs on the bench and eating healthy.

I VALUE dedication. My definition of dedication is when I am committed to something, I give 110% and I remain disciplined until I get that goal. There is no failure, no other option than to succeed. I will keep myself accountable to my commitments.

GOAL SETTING w/ subgoals:

-Sign up for YMCA membership by Monday Oct 14, 2pm
-Sign up to Bodybuilderforums.com by Monday Oct 14, 10pm
-Create individual workout plan and diet by Tuesday Oct 15, 10pm
-Make a post, or message friends on facebook to see if they want to join gym with by Wed Oct 16 10 pm
-Find guys on Bravohood forums who are into body building and connect in by Wed Oct 16, 10 pm
-Start going to the gym by Wednesday Oct 16, 7pm. Bring workout plan.
-Go to grocery store by Wednesday 16, 4pm and buy food in new diet, along with protein shake
-Throw out bad food and junk food by Wednesday 16, 4pm.

So it's totally fine if you guys are still working on your vision, and still building your values. This is something that takes time, as long as you are conscious about it.

Continue to work on vision/values this week and now build your goals from it (just like I did above).

See you this Thursday Oct 17!

Hey guys

Been flat out this week with gym, work, finishing research report, late trains, no sleep etc so this is a bit thin right now.

Hopefully i'm on the right track, I also have more specific goals in another thread but too detailed to put in here, but they sort of feed into my vision and I guess thats where a lot of the vision came from originally..

anyway this is what I have so far

Vision: Most importantly is that I am now bringing value to my personal relationships
get out at least once a week, but aim for more
approach when you have the chance during travel. i.e use the time you do have more wisely
This weekend, sit down and work out what your specific goals are in the area right now, at the moment im floating with no specific plan or path to where I want to go

Vision: Last week I had my final level 2 Spanish class
Sign up to level one class First week January 2014 (summer break uni)
Sign up to level two class during May 2014 (winter break uni)

Vision: I’ve already been to Japan this year
Tonight 18/10/14 Ring cousin to find out details of trip
Figure out way to pay for this trip

Vision: my grade average is up to a D
Weekly – maintain 8 -12 hours study time for your class.
January – select three units for first semester

Vision: also added some great pieces to my wardrobe
Every two weeks add a new piece, big or small, whatever it is
22/10/13 buy jeans that you wanted to get last time

Vision: I’m currently working in a nightclub cocktail bar
15/11/13 final exam date, after this look for part time work in a bar to gain experience.
16/11/13 go to city, and talk to bar managers to try and secure part time work

Vision: I am back up to 95kgs (210 pounds) and I am very happy with my amount of body fat
Sunday 20/10/13: begin 4 week gym schedule
27/10/13: review progress and make adjustments
3/11/13: review progress make adjustments, and begin creating next 4 weeks schedule

My questions for this week:

1.What exactly is a "sticking point?"

2. Where can I find great routine stacks for noobs? I know we have a thread on the Bhood but I don't know how to tie these routines together :| What are your favorite stacks???

3. Any advice for sarging at an athletic event? That will be my venue tomorrow. I want to be in the front seats with my friends and yell and make a ruckus but I also want to approach. Maybe wait after the game and get into sets that are leaving?

4. Does acne affect my value? Cause it has been pissing me off these days and I am very sexy without it.

(What gym specifically, and what days will you go, what time will you go?)

(Which salsa class, what day will you go, what time will you go?)

Work out two days a week by October 21st

(What will you do for your work (ie. gym, crossfit, home workout, etc.), do you have a workout plan, what diet will you be on (gaining or cutting),

Start conversation with 3 random people (for directions/time) everyday starting October 18th 2013.

(Nice. Where/When will you do this?)

Open 3 sets during the day with 5 oceans opener starting October 28th 2013... (Any suggestions for good day game spots would be appreciated. I currently plan to use malls and bookstores)

(During the day as in during lunch hour? If so, say that. I like using locations with instadate locations nearby (bookstores that are close to mall outlets with a juice bar, sushi bar, smoothie bar). College is a good place to daygame too.

Try one new activity per month starting In November (I have skydiving, wine class) on deck

(I really like this and how you are expanding your experiences. I would be specific on what activity for which month)

Dedicate 30minutes per day to routine refinement, conversation steering exercises, etc.

(Think about writing out a 24/7 schedule like Bay did and specify when you will be doing this)

Dedicate another 30 minutes on off days for salsa and kali to personal reading.

Call parents once per week

(What day and what time?)

Call siblings once per month (will make a calendar date for this and the above)

(cool)
