Hey man, have you seen Bravo's video on self defense and why he doesn't recommend pepper spray?

Have a look in the armory for the things B recommends for self defense

My fb and I just bought ourselves a tac flashlight, pen, and knife. She's now looking at getting her gun license too.

To be far Ice I haven't, or I did a long time ago and don't remember.

She hates/scared of guns so my thinking was pepper spray would be the next best thing. I'll look through and see what else he would recommend.

I bought flashlights for my mom and sister. Most crimes happen at night, get a high lumen flashlight and blind the thugs so you can run away, also if it isnt a criminal no real harm is done...
or better yet, blind them with flashlight then pepper spray them lol.

get a chance to watch it yet?

I cover this in it...what and why you should carry other weapons

and that is a good idea or not

also...hard for any of us to help someone who doesnt take their self defense or survival seriously

usually happens AFTER something bad happens to them

One of my deal breakers when dating...won't date a dumb chick who lives with her head in the sand

just started watching it. Half way through it.

Holy shit, didn't know police don't have a duty to protect me.

been thinking about getting a gun for myself, might go do that sooner than I planned.

I see what you are saying about pepper spray. I remember you saying things about flashlights. I look in this section for type you recommend. Will lost again once I finish.

As someone who has pepper sprayed humans and been sprayed in training as well as by the nervous rookie. Think of it as a tactical advantage. Rarely does pepper spray incapacitate a motivated assailant. But it will give you a tactical advantage, as it reduces vision, and breathing.
That being said, if you are committed to pepper spray, look into the Kimber. It even comes in pink.
