Trust

Recently I have been struggling with financial issues but I can't complain. I am not homeless yet and I have a family. But I have met a friend and have known him for a few months. He took me in and always brought me to parties and helped me meet new people. However, he ended up stealing $200 from my glove compartment.
I knew it was him because I put it there before he got into the car. I went into the store while he was in the car and trusted him. Later dropped him off at his house. When I got home it was gone. I never misplace things. I looked multiple times and saw it there and it was gone when I went home. Sometimes I am not sure who to trust.
