First gun show on Saturday

Going to my first gun show this Saturday and pretty excited about it. Anyone have any suggestions or wanna share there experience with one they've been to?

Also looking to make my first firearm purchase after getting outta the Marines. Probably just start with a simple shotgun and start building up from there. Where'd you guys all start with?

and I only dug gun shows to buy ammo in bulk, and if you are into collecting guns


but good place for new-er guys to see lots of cool stuff!

If you come across a bushel of .300 mag brass, buy it for me. I'm running low and need to reload over the winter.

Kinda disappointed with the show I thought there would be more actual firearm vendors. Had alotta people just selling collectables and not so much regular use weapons...

Supposed to be another one in the area next weekend though so I'm hoping for more options there. The search continues.

find out what type of show it is

some are more private sellers, others (like Crossroads of the West) has dealers and manufactures and are huge

sounds like you just need to go to a good gun store

Looked through a few other threads to see if I could find why you recommend the 870 over other shotguns but didn't see anything. Whats your reasoning behind that one?

They are rock solid, easy to find parts for to modify, very affordable, super popular= easy to find replacement parts in end of world scenario.
