Shoe hieght

I've been experimenting with my shoe selection lately. I have been rocking either a pair of black Chuck T's or a pair of Merrel boots from REI.
The Merrel boots give me about an extra inch and a half which I feel is noticeable when I'm out with a girl. Maybe it's psychological, or maybe it's me picking up on their changed perceptions.
Does anyone else wear shoes that make them appear taller?
I'm not really sure how to test this better.

Glacier,
From your posts you an awesome guy. Experiment with the shoes for your own personal enjoyment not to "Measure up to other standards"
As for testing it, a tape measure will do :LOL

Thanks bro. I appreciate the props.
I was considering testing other people's perception of me with the different shoes. Maybe i could get a bunch of people on craigslist to rate a bunch of my friends with different shoes on. The short shoes would be dressy and the ugly shoes would add height. Then I'd compile the data and see where they came out.
I wonder if there have been any academic studies on height and/or clothes/shoes as far as attraction goes?
I like to look classy, so I usually rock the Chuck T's or dress shoes. However, I'm starting to think I should get a pair of classy/dressy shoes which also give me a bit of height. Best of both worlds so to speak.
The only problem I'm seeing right now is that they might make a look a bit gay. I know a lot of gay guys rock the black boots, and I def. don't want that hahaha.

Don't...Great Idea for a research project...But go off infield and try it

Its Called "The Mystery Method"' lol
Being a Bio/ Psych major, Mystery's extensive knowledge on attraction is well researched (Abraham Maslow Self Actualization) plus he spoke at MIT.
That being said, honestly
KEEP GOING OUT IN FIELD !
