I am planning a trip with 3 of my buddies to Sydney, Australia. Were going in mid-May for a little over a week.
Anyone on here have any suggestions on where to stay, what to do, and the best places to pick up women?
We are all in our early 20's and are looking for the best shit to do in the Sydney nightlife.
We're pretty much going there to sight see and pick up hot chicks.
I have also heard that Aussie girls love American guys....can anyone confirm that?
Thanks

I'm on my way to Sydney as well, I know this is a bump from the past but if you could share your experiences there it sure would help this newbie out.

Re: Game in Sydney
Depends what you are looking for...
but here is a brief rundown
West Sydney:
Parramatta - Cougars and criminals shooting at each other, But this place is good for sunday afternoon drinks.
Rest = shit. but if you are out that way check out the Mean Fiddler & the Brewery at Rouse Hill, lots of girls I know from uni go there on the weekend especially on Friday.
City:
Darling Harbour - Mint clubs, it attracts lots of people who want to be rich but haven't quite made it yet. There is also a casino that has a few clubs and is generally very busy. A few that I go to often are Cargo Bar, Pontoon, and Home this is good but friday is like hard trance night so unless you are into that I would stay away on friday plus they charge like $25 to get in = rort
George St - Lots of bars and clubs but higher chance of being bashed by a street gang. if you are looking for drunk slappers this is your area. There are some high end clubs up closer to the rocks so check those out. Ivy(probably the best club in Sydney) and also Establishment
The Rocks - Nice area, it was like the first housing in australia(convicts) so heaps of really old buildings + lots of bars n clubs. generally quiet outside of friday and saturday
Kings X - Heaps of really mint clubs, but this area attracts lots of bikie gangs and general bad people. in saying that the chicks are usually smoking so definitely check it out. probably an idea not to get into any fights though a few people have been killed up there lately. check out Tunnel, Sapphire Suite, World Bar, and The Bank is alright if you can get in.
Oxford Street - The gay and lesbian area, heaps of good clubs but most are gay. although if you aren't homophobic there are always lots of straight girls hanging out in these places. The gay people can usually tell you are straight anyway and leave you alone. Art factory is okay and generally less gays, also check out ARQ this is a gay club but I have met some hot straight chicks there before. Oxford street is really good if you want to kick on as well, lots of day clubs etc
Newtown - Hippy and gay area. same as oxford street lots of straight girls also go out here. Live music go to the marlborough hotel. normal bars try the Bank Hotel.
North Shore:
Neutral bay/Kirrabilli - lots of bars with hot girls, gets fairly quiet outside of normal weekend hours though. don't really remember any where i could recommend
Manly - got some bars and maybe one or two clubs next to the beach. quite a long way out though.
North Sydney = shit no clubs and all the bars are crap
South:
Cronulla - Quite a few clubs down here, and lots of beautiful women, but also lots of redneck Aussies = fighting and amogs. If you can get down there I recommend northies hotel on Sunday evening right across the road from Cronulla beach.
Eastern Suburbs:
Bondi - Just bars, mostly hippy/trendy type people. but check it out. it is the eastern suburbs so there are lots of hot girls.
Coogee - same as Bondi, but less hippies. The Coogee bay hotel is big and usually goes alright.
If you are going out mid week I would stick to george street/darling harbour/oxford street
or wednesday night is uni night, so there is the roundhouse at UNSW Randwick, close to city and The Ranch near macquarie uni at Epping this is out west and usually goes off during semester.
Also I would try and get to the races, these are either at Randwick(city) or Rosehill(parramatta) depending on the weekend. starts at like 11am and finish at 5pm on Saturdays. these places are covered in girls though most are usually written off drunk by race 2. You will also need a suit
hope that helps
