Im sure im not the only one who has discovered that these things aren't needed but I continue to see threads in forums all over the net about guys who wear these just so they have "A coupe of accesorries to peacock...". I used to be one of these guys,I got all the bracelts, earrings, necklaces etc etc, but after a while I discovered I didnt even need them, they probably actually made things worse. So for the newer guys out there, dont just whack these things on and expect them to work, only wear these if they compliment you and the style you are going for. Or you will end up like I did, looking like a weirdo cause I thought I needed to "peacock"

Bay actually posted about this before. Alot of guys over-do the whole "peacocking" thing and end up looking like fucking fruit loops. Personally, I wear a thick fossil watch, a necklace, an earring, a wallet chain, and a ring. But they all compliment how I look and I rock the fuck out with it.

Peacocking isn't bad when done correctly.

Peacocking also isn't bad on special occasions, St. Patty's day, halloween, christmas etc.

Tips helped. I know a few people myself who go over the top and are loaded with watches, rings, wristbands, necklaces and things that don't really make sense. It'd be ok if they fit together but... no. An all business watch, a glowstick band, bottle opener ring, and a punk wrist band is a little much. Personally, one stud earring, a watch that fits, my grandfathers ring, and a necklace. Not even meant to peacock on the watch, ring, or necklace. Just happens that it does. My necklace is a pendant meaning persistence and a dog tag with my friends name, b-day, and d-day that commited suicde. I do have a question on that though, is it a tad much to be wearing the dog tag? Does it DHV? I will continue to wear it but if its not helping sarging I might put it away while I do that.

I have messy hair, but wear a nice shirt and jeans. I have one wrist which has a fair few wristbands, some with my name on, one a sports watch (cause it's waterproof and I never have to take it off). And other various bits which I think look more interesting. I get good feedback on them. I can make up DHV stories about travels, relationships etc.

It depends on your avatar, for sure. But I think a few wristbands can add a bit of personality to your look.
