They suprise me again and again with their awesomeness, in the event I pass the qualifications for SF, and in the event that they do get to choose their own weapons (I have never got comfrimation on that question) I will be going with the H&K 416,

The thing I like about it is the dependability of it, it has a slightly different operating system then a M16 or M4 Carbine that allows for it to be more effective and less jams, and heats up less.
I am very fond of it and would like to use it especially with the H&K grenade launcher

I was always more close quarter stuff, so pretty squared away on pistols and shotguns.

The whole time I was in LA I was out of the loop, so don't really have too much intel on the these Ar type guns.

But wouldnt you want to use what the other guys are carrying, so mags and parts can be interchanged?

that's the beauty of the 416, uses the same mags as an m4 or m16, both are .223/5.56
and the grenade launcher is just an improved version of the m203 offering a handgun like trigger, still uses the 40mm grenades, so everything would still be interchangable ammo wise

lol I'm gonna shoot for weapons sargeant in the Green Berets, they train with lots and lots of weapons, they have to know how to use all sorts of foreign weapons so they can teach locals how to operate them. Pretty pumped.
