Bravo's foot in his mouth #632

When you joke around and talk as much shit as I do, eventually you are going to fuck up and put your foot in your mouth. This is from a few months ago and still makes me laugh and cringe!


I had hurt my ankle in BJJ class, didn't think it was that bad so ignored it for awhile.

It was getting to the point that when I would wake up in the morning I couldn't walk on it. Sometimes I would get out of bed with a girl and she would see me walking like a gimp and they would fuss about it, with one when we couldnt walk to a restaurant close to her house she made a stink so I went to the doc.

I got refereed to a foot specialist and I was sitting on the table and him and his assistant walk in.

He has me take off my shoe and he pokes around for a bit and tells me I need to stretch it and get some insoles that will help with support and wear them until the pain goes away. He then goes on to say, "it would be a good idea if you kept wearing them, also you shouldn't wear converse shoes. They have no support and are very flat, which is bad for the foot. You should get a pair of New Balance shoes and wear those! They offer great lateral support and help put the arch in the correct position."

I respond with- "yaaaaaa don't think that is going to happen, I have to dress cool and have never seen a pair of New Balances that didn't look gay."

Him and his assistant freeze and look at me awkwardly.

I lean forward on the table and look down to see that they are BOTH wearing New Balance shoes.

"Oh....those don't look that bad..." I say.

They both force a smile, he hands me a coupon for the insoles at Runner's Den and they walk out.

Farmer: "Oh, I went there with my friend Sneak for Mardi Gras last year. SOOOOOOO much fun. You are going to have a blast there. You should def go to Tropical Isle for Handgrenades....."

Girl: ".....Im going there for a funeral"

Farmer: "....Oh"
