Personally I would focus on stuff that wont quickly fade after a few weeks.

You could get some awesome connections at the clubs, but how much of that will carry over when you are not about to go out and hit them anymore?

If me, I would go out and do some chill stuff, like your kayaking trip, and fishing with dad.

Chicks and connections come and go, so focus on things that dont.
