I left a career that wasn't bad but couldn't see myself doing for the rest of my life. It wasn't something I was truly passionate about and have taken another course that is congruent with who I am and it's already had a positive more true to self impact. My attitude, outlook, and health have skyrocketed however, it's a significant income decrease (for now).
The income decrease is causing periodic fear that it'll hurt my PU training and dating life as I've been with a number of women that do view income as a deal breaker. It may be easy to dismiss them as "gold diggers" which certainly exist, however, having a secure future is part of and understandably so, a deciding factor when evaluating future potential.
So my question is,
Do I continue learning PU despite the lower income being a potential negative factor or wait until I've hit a level of income and future certainty before attempting to PU or date?
Thanks!
Still train PU when going through life change?

replace "PU" with self improvement
weigt loss
working out
martial arts training
etc....
and then think about that question?

Quoted it to rewrite it to see how it looks.
Currently, it's BJJ 5-6 days a week, calisthenics, for working out.

yep
do you put that on HOLD...EVER?
no
you can focus on other aspects of your life, but not wise IMO to put self improvment on hold

Leaving a job in pursuit of finding something passionate is hardly a negative thing. Sure, income may drop, but to many people, doing just that is a much more attractive path in life.
Describe that to any women you meet and you're now the guy who actually did what everyone wishes they could do (quit they job and follow their own path)
By all means, you still gota make money...but do you see the incredible amount of positive there is in telling someone what you just said above. You don't tell someone your poor, you tell them what you just typed out.

Re: Still train PU when going through life change?
I have a similar situation Dealing with a life changing health problem
Taking what Bravo said and applying it to my situation... he is right. It may be 100x harder for me to do things people take for granted right now, but I haven't stopped all my other self improvement efforts in life. I have to stretch twice a day just to keep from getting worse. If I beat this and am back to my old self one day I will continue these stretching exercises because they're just good in general for flexibility. So, already learning and improving because of this bad experience.
