Sell or be Sold (book review)

I am about 70% through Sell or Be Sold By Grant Cardone's audiobook and love it. A lot of the selling advice can be applied straight to pick up and to almost every human interaction.

The takeaways so far.
1. Be completely sold on your product (which in pick up is yourself)
This is pretty basic pickup 101 but I need a little reminder every once and while.

2. Always be closing/ never leave an interaction without offering a proposal.
How I apply to this pickup is always have an 'offer' that you are completely sold on to offer a prospective gal. Whether it be a netflix+pizza+anal sex offer or to go to a club with you. But know before hand what you have going on. I've realized that when I'm confident that I have an awesome week coming up, girls come out of the woodwork to give me their numbers, where as when I'm trying to girls/dating to pass the time, it can be like pulling teeth to get some.

3. 10x rule/ goal setting
Grant talks about setting goals that require you to stretch big time. And once that goal is set, to put forth 10x the effort that you think it'll take to get there. Which is basically set your goal, paint yourself into a corner, then put your balls on the table and go after it.

In conclusion the audiobook has been pretty awesome. He reads it himself and I can feel his passion which has helped me try harder in school and not waste as much time doing stupid shit.
