Was recently struck by how often I use interpersonal games in my communications (see Eric Berne's Games people play) especially my use of 'Yes, but" and 'Wooden Leg'. In summary, a game is a misuse of language or NV communication strategy to achieve an objective. I terms of 'Wooden Leg' it is trumpeting a disability or disablement as an excuse for failure and using it to curry favour. Yes, I have them, no this are not a firewall to hide behind. I need to shake off a lot of unhelpful labels and learn some backbone

Once you find yourself depending on something. (Eg. Me with magic years ago). Stop

30 days without. And go out a ton to try and figure out how to roll without it.

Went from carrying 3 decks of cars even night. To doing magic...10 times total in last 3 years. Just for friends. At home. :)
