AK-47 or AR-15

Old post, but going to toss in my opinion, having fired both weapons.

I prefer the AR-15 over the AK because how the recoil felt, the sights, and the way it can be held.

The AK I used seemed to have an awkward holding position, the sights just seemed....off, even if they weren't, and the weapon as a whole just seemed clunky.

Picking up and firing the AR came very natural, lightweight, easy to hold and position, and is generally up-to-date with current ammo that is widely available.
