so after some discussion with some of my boys, I think I have come to a conclusion


I was thinking a flat $69 dollar donation would make things simpler. Less guys might do it, but it would just make the guys who did do it more awesome IMO

But seems like almost everyone thinks a yearly lower rate is the way to go, that way it's up to each guy whether or not they want to re-up each year.

There was an idea about offering both, a yearly and the lifetime- what would your guy's thoughts be on that?


Either way I am going to bump up the PM inbox amount, and if enough guys ask for it, will create a private GOLD MEMBER only section on this forum- for the guys who want to post something that they REALLY want private. (and my only rule will be nothing illegal)

The only thing I really like about a Gold member only section is it will preserve anonymity. As it is now...anyone can register and see the FR section. If there was a Gold member only section...it isn't like some chick can register and see something you want private that you posted unless she wants to shell out some cash which is unlikely to happen. A pretty good job is done of keeping chicks/trolls/etc... out of this place but it's still possible to have "security" breached in that fashion. All that said...I'm on the fence about the "pay cash and get access to private forum" thing for reasons already mentioned in this thread.

and there isn't going to be GOLD versions of each section of the forum

just 1 that can be used however the GOLD guys want is all

nothing VIP about it, just some guys hold back on posting every once in a while, and that might help, but then they are only going to get the few gold namers to even be able to see it


my MMA forum has a section like that- and mostly used for NSFW type stuff- and not sure if I want the forum going down that path...
