A msg for Ice / DJNiniga :

I'm an idioit who didn't read carefully again. It is a Flash Chat - but couldn't find the URL. My bad.

Ray Ray learn lesson from first cold shower experience:
However I just wanted to mention my learned lesson from doing this. I came home tonight and took a very hot long bath. It was pleasant to realize that no matter what - I can not deny myself I have a life in the modern world. In other words, - no matter what happens, no body can take that from me.

Ray's personal comment after 1st day of cold shower:
I'm still looking for Mrs.RayRay. You are Field Report worthy and more importantly - Girlfriend Material. With you I feel a state of awesomeness with me living life.

Ha! Yeah, those guys were pretty hardcore. Glad I found something that resonates with you.

Took my first cold shower yesterday, second one today. I just went straight for the freezing cold Figured I'd go all out. Stood there for a good thirty seconds hesitating before turning it on. First minute was hell, but once I started getting used to it, it was nowhere near as bad as I'd thought. I managed to stay in for 7-10 minutes both times. Felt great afterwards. I even had an extra spring in my step. I'm definitely keeping at this for the next month at least to see what happens.

I jump in the running shower that was set to full coldness in Chiago winter time. Water was too cold - it hurt. I won't be doing that again for the time being.
You're lucky to have that option. Down here in Florida the water doesn't get nearly that cold. Almost feel like I'm missing out a bit. I'm jealous. lol

When I first saw this the other day, I was like fuck that, no chance, that is some severe punishment

but I tried it today, I actually started with a hot shower because I forgot about it so that probably made it feel colder than it should. but had the same thing, was moving around like an idiot for around a minute or two then could stand under it no problem, went about 5 minutes maybe a bit more.

it was kind of like jumping in the ocean in winter, cold as fuck, but just dive in and after a while its fine and you can swim around without bitching, and actually feels good afterwards.

Yeah it was cool it go extreme, but with multiple test runs on life patterns - I've found it's always ideal to go medium. I however am testing hot showers. I plan on leveraging both of them :)

I haven't taken a cold shower since the spartan incident. I've been taking extremely hot showers. LoL.

I have travelled to buy a 7-11 slurpie for what I consider a proper brain freeze. Felt like a kid again :)

That's my 2 cents Khael,

How is it down-under mate Monteray?

I was thinking the same thing. Once I accomplish my goals - I'm gonna jump in Lake Michigan then get out and walk home. Was thinking of posting it on Facebook :)

Kick ass bro,
Ray Ray

Added: I'm thinking of buying Spartan gear for the jump

always good here Ray, ya man i actually went swimming at the beach during our winter (august) and wasn't fun. but it is always refreshing. just gotta dive in straight away

tried this again tonight after gym and only wriggled around for 10 secs then was fine, stayed about 6.5 minutes had a timer going so I didn't have to think about how long it was and stayed a bit longer after it went off.

although Im guessing because it is summer here and quite hot the water probably doesn't get as cold as it would where you guys are

More cold showers over the last few days. Oddly enough I've started to look forward to them. It's a nice way to kickstart the day. My ultimate goal with cold water is get to the point where I can just walk in with a big smile on my face and enjoy it thoroughly. I'm at the point now where I can manage to make it in without making any unseemly sounds. Next up is no grimmacing or squirming.

I'm thinking of this as mental training not just for pick-up (AA and all that) but also for swimming and surfing, which I'm starting to get into seriously soon.
