they look good, but have just never gotten to hands on, any of them
spyderco is great, and for the price the Delica is amazing, I still carry one
Benchmand= awesome
and if trying to budget a bit more, CRKT is also great bang for the buck

I agree with Bravo for the best bang for the buck CRKT are not a bad choice.
Benchmade are all solidly built just sometimes pricy.
Kershaw is a brand I've come to trust as their folders with an assisted opening style is the most reliable for the price as I've found.
Spyderco are all awesome in my experience.
If you want a lifetime knife get Damascus steel. Keep it dry, coated or oiled & you will have a blade that you sharpen rarely.
Another pricy brand is Cold Steel. Good knives in all aspects but can be very expensive.

I carry Benchmade auto openers.
For the budget minded Kershaw assisted openers.
For light weight, Spyderco.
