Yea so. After reading this last reply and your last post, I have to say something.

First of all, unless someone here is a professional that works in the industry in recruiting F1 racers, really don't think anyone should be telling you it will NEVER happen. Even if there are professional scouts here, if this was my dream, I would do what I could to prove them wrong - but that's just me.

Is it unlikely, maybe, perhaps. We'll see. Are there obstacles, big or small? Yea (there always is). But, who the fuck am I to tell you it's never going to happen. Redbull did a f1 driver search and the oldest guy who got in was 24 I believe. Yes he has been doing it awhile. If I am remember right, I saw a documentary a number of years back in college where a guy who had no racing experience won the 2nd spot on the team to drive in f1.

Reading your original post, it seemed like you needed to know in your head it's possible. You obviously have made some headway, gained some powers, and are looking for what else is possible. Some valid points made on working out a realistic plan. When you have your vision, work out a plan towards it. Check out redbull f1 UK, and other teams and research it in your area, check out the driver and company backgrounds and what they are looking for. Do a realistic comparison of where you are at and where the guys who get in are. From there if you are really passionate about it and still want to go for it, go for it.

An older (mid 30's) olmypic swimmer after fighting off cancer competed in UK Olympic this year who has never really gotten into swimming until a few years ago.

The key is that Impossible is nothing. When you start there and run with your passion, it will allow you to be more creative in what's possible.

Few takeaways I'm seeing here -

1. You are fully accountable to what you believe in life.
2. Learn to decipher info and balance what you are hearing with where you want to go and how you are going to get there
3. Have a vision.
4. Research, research, research,
5. If you still feel passionate about it - work out a realistic or ambitious plan on how to get there. But do something.

Reading all this - it's really the mindset that I'm looking out for.

Looks like you are in a state where you need to move forward. So keep moving forward.

What if you are in sales? Zig Zigler once said "Timid salesmen have skinny children". And he was right on, you have to be aggressive to succeed in the business world.
