it actually easily could

FRs, LRs, video, pics, awesome posts, can get you up

BUT to get to black belt we have to meet face to face

Ah, a Bravo judged-popularity contest?

I prefer leather belts anyways.

And for people who care for their anonymity enough to not post videos/pics of themselves? This isn't exactly a private site.

to view the field report section you have to register for the forum

and very easy to change names and blur a face in a pic

everyone I have ever heard who got "busted" was talking about it with their friends, GF came over and saw a website they were on, or they were posting on things like facebook their PUA info

Dont talk about fight club

if you follow that rule, would be very surprised if ANYONE here ever gets called out

really, I should be the person concerned about that the MOST

Leave it to Techfall to ask whats BJJ lol. Overall I agree with this rating system vs the older one. Stops the Keyboard jockeys from reigning.

Yes, but wasn't your argument against the 3 FR rule that it would take too much effort for someone to monitor the FR's?

With this ranking system (as-is. I understand it's a work in progress), that would put someone constantly monitoring FR's. That would need someone who's sole job is to keep track of each individual's progress. That will never happen, so the guys with the cool belts will occasionally pick a winner whilst everybody else remains a white-belt.

Thus, the popularity contest.

Users will grow weary of all the work they put in and they're still just some "newbie" on the site, waiting for one of the big guys to take a liking to them. People get their feeling of importance in strange places. If you neglect that, they will just wander back to where they came from.

was no 3 FR on the SLA public forum?

no way I could keep that all straight, but dont think this is going to have 85,000 members anytime soon

and what I would require is for the member to pm me (or another admin/coach/mod) with links and we could scan them, and then we could promote, or if I notice someone is really kicking ass, they get made. Same stuff I did on the Eltie forum

also looking into ways for only higher belts to be able to promote

basically like a martial arts organization

Excellent Idea Brother!

I always felt on the other side that people got misranked in many cases based on the quantity of their posting as opposed to quality.

Kick Ass!

i like it bravo. quality over quantity. on other forums, there are so many people with the rank of "master pua" or whatever you want to call them, who are idiots. they just respond to every post and thread, and it's obvious they don't have any knowledge of game in the real world, because they spend 24 hours a day typing on forums. a ranking system to be judged individually by your skills and abilities? thumbs up to this one...
