I'm not into the fancy pointy toed shoes and they don't really fit with my personality. If not Doc's anyone have any suggestions?

Dr. Marten's yay or nay???
It's time for me to pick up a new pair of boots. I've always worn Doc's and seem to have done alright with them. The right pair can be stylish...not that I really know what I should be looking for...

ROFL. that was my thought before i even read any comments. i had some docs back when i was like 15, i honestly didn't even know they were still around.Bravo wrote:you should buy them

yes, try some new stuff! don't be afraid to experiment with different styles, even ones that don't seem to be "you". you'll find some things you like and others that you don't. i dress completely different now than i did a few years ago. the stuff i wear now i wouldn't have been caught dead in back in then, and the stuff i wore back then, i would never even think about wearing now. as you try new things, see how they make you feel, see what kind of responses you get from women, etc, you evolve and develop a style.
just remember...regardless of what anyone thinks their "style" is, you need to dress well. women like that. i really love the couple of excercises in rules of the game on this topic, i think its like day 5 and 6 or something like that? really helped me a lot to get and try new things. and i do that excercise everytime i buy new clothes. last week, right before my trip, i went to express to buy a few shirts, but i immediately found a sales girl and had her help me pick out some outfits, i tried them on and had her evaluate and we picked them out together. i was even straight up with her when she asked what kind of styles i normally wear, do i like this kind of jeans, etc. i said look at how i'm dressed now (and i was dressed nice), this is my "style". but i am open to all kinds of new things. looks change, fashion changes, i wanna look good. so don't worry about what i like, i'm worried about what YOU like. help me find some stuff to try in that you think would look hot on me. and that's what she did.

I'd say nay, unless you are rocking a skinhead/punk style, which some girls dig. I however do not, I usually go out in regular skate shoes or fancier leather shoes.
