How often should I upgrade my wardrobe?
Going clothes shopping is on my to do list. In the next year or so, I am going to have to be careful with my budget. During the research, I realized that I am going to have to make clothes part of my spending. Being a dude, I don't know a whole lot about fashion. How quickly do styles change? I'd like to try a style that won't get old too soon so I can save some $$$. Read somewhere that once everytwo years is good. Any other thoughts?

Hey Jigsaw,
I've been living out of a single 60L bag for just over two years now. I usually dress fairly casual, I usually have one pair of smart pants or jeans at any one time, I'm not suggesting that's for you, simply implying that it's not as difficult as you might first think.
I believe the standard advise is to layer up your outfits, this is something I also tend to avoid as I get a little hot and sweaty in anything but the harshest of English winters!
Keep an eye out for celebs or guys you see rocking a good look but also that matches your personality. I would also recommend that you change things out slowly and take advantage of mid or end of season sales.
A couple of brands for Tees I really like are Allsaints, Religion and Bolongaro Trevor. These brands can be pretty pricey, but you can get some good deals in the sales. I know Allsaints is now available in the US, and I've had Tee's from these brands that have last three years or so.

Make it a constant thing also, doesn't have to be one big splurge every 2 years, but a regular addition here and there. Make shopping a part of your daygame practise, hitting on hired guns as well as chicks in the mall etc
Kill 2 birds with one stone
And also don't fully focus on clothes. How is your hairstyle? Cologne? Grooming? Shoes? Happy with your body or feel you'd like to workout?
It's never a static thing but a constant progression and keeping on top of things

when does new fashion come out?
every season!
so...do a little shopping (like stated above) each season
like girls
It's OK to go to the mall, look around, and NOT buy anything.
I go when I go, try on a few things, and upgrade = simple
if single, I also do some approaches and day game
