a lot of this stuff is more me going out and having a fun time and my shirts, pants, shoes show that. I absolutely love anchorman, think that ali was the baddest mother fucker ever and think that reservoir dogs is a movie all men should see. the anchorman shirt is beyond amazing sooo many people come up quoting the movie, chicks laugh at, and then I can go into my usual sexual funny retarded stuff with them cause they have a similar sense of humor.

A place I have had good luck with are Nordstrom Rack "Discounted clothing from Nordstrom stores". https://www.nordstromrack.com/category/Men

Also 6pm.com. this has many designer clothes from 20-75% off.

The only thing that sucks with online shopping is not knowing how well it fits.

Not sure what the problem is here.

You asked for help we provided it.

We, maybe I, simply want pictures or effort by you to show that you have in fact changed something about your style. It's not great from a couple ago.

Style is sooooo vastly important. Can't dress yourself how does she think you are going to undress her?

I see what you're saying SD, sorry about that.

I tried out a few things over the past couple months, a lot of them didn't work. I didn't want to offend people by saying "this didn't work" and that's it... I wanted to put something together from the advice given that was an improvement.

Anyways, I shaved the beard... was clean shaven for 3 weeks, and the attention I got from women dropped dramatically. After a week of being clean shaven, I cut my hair short as well (didn't want to commit fully to going bald), and I couldn't open a set to save my life. You live you learn

I've let the beard out, except this time I'm letting it all grow out without trimming, and keeping at a 2 week length. I'm not sure what to do with the hair, this seems to be OK for now, I'm gonna try to grow it out a bit and see. Not sure.

Then I went and tried out the rocker look. I got some jeans with some rips in them, and pulled out a leather jacket from way back in the day (think the one Arnold wore in Terminator 2). The jacket still fit, the outfit looked good. I started attracting the rocker type girls, so it was a success. Unfortunately, I found I have nothing in common with those girls. I'm not the laid back, cool, badass type of guy. The personality just didn't work, and I was striking out with the girls I was approaching.

I decided to go back to my preppy style, since I have something in common with those girls.

When I wear collared shirts like this to the bar, I can open the dolled up girls fairly consistently. The laid back girls don't really pay much attention, guess it looks too tryhard. Here I have some new dark denim (straight leg, fairly snug against the thighs), and a fitted dress shirt.

For the more laid back girls at the bar, this shirt/pants combination has been doing better than what I was previously wearing. Both shirts are from Guess, and they are fitted. I need to get in better shape to make them really look good.

As for the shoes, I didn't want to go with white ones in the bar because it would be too hard to upkeep. I went for a blue instead. Got a couple of compliments from girls I was on dates with about them, so I definitely have to thank you guys for it.

Well, that's where I'm at right now. Unfortunately the rocker/super-casual look didn't work out for me... looks like I get along a bit better with the preppy girls.

If you guys don't think this has made much of a difference, let me know and I'll take a look at upgrading the wardrobe again. I'm open to suggestions, I just didn't want to be a D-bag who says "tried it, didn't work".

I like the button down shirt on you. The facial hair I think looks patchy. Have you tried shaving head and leaving a goatee? Looks like hair grows thick on chin for you, then gets more patchy on cheeks. Could have been camera angle also, so do what works for you.

This pair of shoes has received many compliments. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/magnanni-pu ... ts-_-1_2_B

I got them heavily discounted at Nordstrom Rack in Atlanta. I would not pay retail for them, but they are pretty unique and cool looking. I think they would look great with the button down shirt look you have.

A nice pair of boots may look good with any outfit with jeans also. I am not sure if it is the different colors, or the material, but I do not like the shoes, JMO. If they are complimented often and you like them then do what works.

One last thing. Do you have any accessories? Rings, watch, necklace, or bracelet?
