Think abouts what congruent with you and the look you like. What you think would look good on you or someone you aspire to be.
Take a girl or a guy with a good fashion sense. Make sure everything fits properly!
My go to outfit is:
shirt,
nice fitting jeans, smart shoes, wristbands and a ring with a DHV story. I don't really wear T-shirts unless im working from home. I just do smart-casual really.
What do you think would work best for you?

Part of it is congruency
But also, a lot of guys starting out don't have a good fashion sense yet
so instead of buying stuff they should be checking out that seems out of their comfort zone, they stick to the same style they've always had and doesn't work well. Not saying go out and buy feathered caps like Mystery at all. But if you've only ever had always had pale blue jeans and a t-shirt, think about checking out other styles
Instead of blowing $2000 on clothes tomorrow that you don't know whether looks good or not
Why not check out latest stuff on fashion, ie. GQ, celeb profiles and see what looks you do like
Could also post pics on here of the clothes you like and we can give you our take
Matching up your body profile to the fit and overall look is important
I like to shop at RW and Guess because they make great slim fitting clothes that I like and look good on me.
They may not look great on you if you're not slim fitting. So throwing out clothes we like would just be a shotgun method and may not be the best fashion advice for you
What looks are you going for (ie. suitted up, jeans and blazer, casual) etc. ?
