Why go away from streamlight/surefire - which is what Bravo recommends?

Bravo knows tactical flashlights... So if he's never heard of them, how good can it be?

Surefire and streamlight are field-tested and used by military

You can find streamlight flashlights on sale on amazon (at least you could before)

I've bought the 1L and 2L and love them. I like the quality and the fact I know I can rely on my flashlight whenever I need.

Good rule of thumb.

Don't be too eager to buy something just because you can get a discount on it.

I have to follow this rule all the time at Costco!

I did say that the flashlight looked like a surefire ripoff /wanna be in the last message.

So right there....not digging.

2nd. Don't like betting my life on gear I don't know is quality...just to save a few bucks.

Streamlight I always have is like 40 bucks.

How much is this one?
