The thing is they have great reviews on YouTube and the army and navy are making a switch to them..according to a interview I watched on YouTube

no way the army or navy is making a switch to them

also a long gun in a hand gun caliber....would much rather have a rifle caliber in a long gun

sold them at our gun shop, some work and some were 100% worthless

no way I would buy one

a gun is something you might need to use to keep yourself alive...saving 100 bucks and buying something like this= bad investment

Depends on where you are looking for an AR. I have been finding damn good ones at pre-December prices. For the price of one of these, you can put one hell of a down payment on an AR. Set up a fund. Stick $250 in it every month. In 3 or 4 months, you could buy or build a damn good AR.

The Hi Point carbine is at best a cheap truck or camp gun. A straight blow back design that relies on a heavy weight to keep it in battery. A Mil Spec AR is light years ahead of that design. Buy once cry once.
