I checked the ones that you bravo and methos recommended.. and as im sure they are high quality and extremely reliable, i found that there are many brands with simily lumen output and specs for $10 instead of $60. I almost went and bought one of the really nice ones that bravo endorses without looking around

Seem like neat lights, but NOT tactical lights and wouldn't have faith in them and how they work for self defense.

Some lights I have cost me hundreds of dollars so the ones I linked are the cheapest ones I recommend and carry.

I have a handful of those TrustFire flashlights. They are basically the knock-off of a Streamlight Protac 1aa. Not the most reliable lights out there. They also aren't really the lumen output that they are stated. Dropped one while working on a car and ...lights out. Put the Protac 1AA 70 lumen next to the Trustfire with their "200 lumen output" and you will still see a HUGE difference and probably swing for the Protac next time.

I also have the Protac HL 600. Great light and I use it for when I do Security, but it can be WAY too bright for in the home settings. Example; middle of the night, completely dark, you hear a noise and bounce out of bed... You grab your HL600 and as soon as you turn it on, your eyes aren't ready for the white wash off of a wall from a 600 lumen flashlight. I prefer my Streamlights to my Surefires. I mean, for f#cks sake, Streamlight built a MILLION Candela Hand Light for NASA in the 70's. They've been doing this sh!t for a while.

Thanks for the links bravo and drew. The trust fire and and sure fire lights came in and work ok, however i will probably buy the stream lights for my sister and mother as they like to run at night sometimes.

Streamlight updated the one I carry. 10 tap technology. Meaning you can change settings to HIGH only.

511 came out with a new 3v led and looks pretty good. Might get one to compare but costs like twice as much.

Still happy with the flashlight I bought. I'm going to get some more of the one from your video Bravo so I don't have to remember to carry the same one around with me everywhere.
