Maybe some guys here in the military might have an answer for this.
Are there any short of certificates or civilian training programs that might be worthy of putting on a job application for certain government positions.
I'm strongly considering applying in a field for the Secretary of State. While it isn't combat related at all, the job can be remote or potentially dangerous.
Outside of saying "Hey, I legally own a gun"....what sort of training would suggest that I'm more trained than the average Joe? Or at least stand out on an application.
Cheers
