Im having a hard time keeping a job

Post by kyle blaze »

Ever since I started working I could never keep a job, I am always depressed and it effects me at work. I just lost my job yesterday, I know I have to make money in order to survive but I don't want to work because Im always just misereable. I try to keep a job but I always just give up and get fired. I must have went through over 5 jobs since September I miss my son and my ex and I don't want to take meds I just want to be happy and keep a job.

Whiny posts like this are NOT going to win points here. You obviously have a problem, now what's yoru game plan to fix it rather than just saying "I don't want to do what it takes to fix it, but I want it fixed"

JOIN THE MILITARY LIE ABOUT ANY DEPRESSION OR MEDS AND JUST JOIN ALREADY! You've been talking about it for a while.

That's terrible advice. Why in the hell would anyone want to serve beside someone with an undiagnosed mental issue? I dunno about you fame, but I sure as hell don't wanna be standing beside a guy in afghanistan that is whining and crying for no good reason.

Also, the military isn't for people who "just need a job" it's for people who actually want to be there.

Take your meds. Get help. There's no shame in having a mental problem like depression. There's shame in not addressing it.

First of all he wants to Serve, not just for a job.

Second of all, brother, you just need to get a grip on your life. Personally I believe depression is all mental. If I can deal with my x-fiance dumping me in the Stan, my closest friends being killed, which was hard as fuck, and plenty of financial problems, getting hit by a taxi, whatever, you can deal with whatever problems you have. It's all mental attitude bro.

In my younger years, I contemplated suicide more times than I can count, I was depressed. Was I whining and crying in Afghanistan when getting shot at? No. and after realizing I was being a bitch and it was unexceptable, I stopped getting depressed.

You need to find an outlet man, for me it's working out, reading, and self improvement.
Have a goal, and really push forward towards it. Backwards engineer that shit and take each step till you achieve it.

Despite all the drama in my life, all the negativity, I push towards my goal, and it keeps my mind clear.

And if you really feel like you can't conquor depression, than get a non combat affiliated job in the military. There are plenty of jobs in the military that will give you skills you need to better yourself and help you find a career, look at Taz, did he go the combat route? not at all and now he's doing private contracting over in Afghanistan, making fucking loads of cash that most people only dream of.

knowing what's causing you to be down would be a good starting point

then knowing what you need to move forward is the next
