I dig the colors. You could rock a blue pair of jeans, with a black shirt that has a similar brown tied into it, or a brown shirt. Or similar brown pants, with numerous different color shirts. Finding things with similar colors, and good complimenting colors will help pull the entire outfit together.

It will work for casual events. Just make sure what you wear above your feet is congruent.

Ditto what Bravo said - it's all about the complete look. Personally, on their own, they aren't as flashy as I prefer. Shoes are the first thing a chick checks out after she scans your bod. ;) But - seeing the complete look might make THESE shoes epic.

Shoes are one of the few items of the top of my head that I would go "flashy" on. Attention seekers. Shoes that radiate good looks and style will pull more complements than pretty much anything else you own. Girls WILL open you because they just had to compliment your shoes.

That being said, those look like a nice, comfortable pair of everyday shoes. A girl will never reject you because of them. But they won't draw in the massive attention.

Unless you're wearing them with a full suit. Then they'll get attention!

Those shoes are aight. Very laid back and low key. Like bravo said, it all depends on your entire outfit. If you wear those with leather pants, it's not gonna make a difference. I can see those with maybe a more grungy/hipster kind of look. I don't think you can pull off dressy clothes with those though.

I agree with Metz, and that it's always better to have flashier shoes. I like clean chuck taylors or some exotic pumas (don't go too exotic though, or you will just end up looking weird. ie, don't buy bright green and purple pumas haha). Also Steve Madden makes some great stuff.

If you want to go dressy, Kenneth Cole is pretty good.

Those shoes are good for jeans and a t shirt. Get a pair of oxfords or loafers for whenever you wear a button down.

Girls love converse so if you think it works your with you style rock them!

A shoe is a shoe. I personally would never wear that kind of shoe, but I'm sure you wouldn't wear mine either.

I suggest figuring out your own unique style and go with that.
