Buying new wardrobe
Okay, I have about a 1000 US bucks to spend on a new wardrobe. I could use some advice on how to make the most of my money.
I am 23, I live in Hawaii so most of what I am going to be looking for will be summer-ish clothes.
I need some solid club outfits and some more casual bar scene clothes.
I am a big guy, 6 foot 2, and I am about 215 lbs. I am pretty muscular, with about %12 body fat.
I like to dress good, but also casual. I like to dress my age. So I picked a few celebs around my age, and body type and looked at what they were wearing. Haha, surprisingly I really liked Taylor Lautner's look (the warewolf from Twilight).
Any idea where I can get something like this:

I'm also looking for some good v-necks, good jeans and such.
For casual clothes, I like earthy tones like brown, grey and black.
I need some peacocking items, bracelets and necklaces. Maybe something that I can use as a DHV.
I also really like Miansai bracelets, but dont want to spend 70 bucks on a leather/rope bracelet. Ideas?

I was stationed in Oahu from 99-03....god damn do I wish I knew about PU back then....
V-Necks - I like American Eagle, you can get them at Macy's for cheap, around $10, multiple colors, solids, stripes, etc. I have several colored ones that I wear just as a shirt, and 4 white ones that I wear underneath.
Jeans - Lucky or Seven's, get them tailored to fit you.
Board Shorts - You're in fuckin' Hawaii....70% of your day to day outfits should include board shorts LOL Find some local fashion mags, or check out the "Hot" local stores and get a couple of pair.
As far as club clothes, I would kill two birds with one stone, dress nice and go to any of the 4,000 shops in Honolulu or Waikiki and find a hot little customer service girl around your age and have her help you shop.
Also, if you haven't yet, you should hit up DJNinjaMusic, he lives on Oahu (I believe) and could probably point you in the right direction for good local shops. If you want to game local girls or tourists, you can't put out that military vibe too much.

And Bandit would be right!
Agreeing with almost everything that Bandit said except for one thing: board shorts are good for at the beach (hanging out and/or beach game) and at home chillaxing.
For day game, don't. EVERY other guy wears shorts, tees, & slippers/flip-flops when going to the mall. You, on the other hand, are not like every other guy, so dress differently and people will notice.
When I day game at the mall (or even if I just go out to the store for groceries), I roll in jeans, a nice fitted t-shirt, and Chuck Taylor All-Stars. Sometimes I throw on a fedora. Is it overkill for Hawaii weather? A little. But boy, do I turn heads when I walk into a room...
I get a lot of great threads for cheap at Nordstrom Rack, and I fill it in with stuff from Express. Men's Wearhouse just opened here; Duke and TS10 checked it out and said it was pretty awesome, and since they're awesome, they're right!
And for the love of god, do not wear Ed Hardy/Affliction, every douchey guy I know wears one, and you're not going to be invited to roll with me LOL

Re: Buying new wardrobe
I swear on my life, if you ever catch me wearing Ed Hardy or Affliction or anything else like that...please please please CUT OFF MY DICK. You will be doing me a favor.
On another note, thanks for the other advice. Guess I'll be hitting up Ala Moana right when I get back. I'll try to kill 2 birds with one stone. Get a new wardrobe, and do the newbie mission while I'm there.

Re: Buying new wardrobe
Yeah man DJNinjaMusic and me will show you were to go. I've discovered recently that the ala moana is t the best place to shop unless you have something in mind or a discount book or something. A lot of things are maxed out retail because its so close to waikiki. JCPennys is a good place to go. I can swear by MW. Awesome selections and great deals. We have to be careful though because TS10 just sarged a girl who works there and it turned out pretty bad. She also happens to be the owners daughter. This is why we don't shit were we eat
As for affliction, it had so much potential. Ohh well :/
Oh and the mall at windward might do you a little better. Better prices, and all the stores go on sale with the change of season. Kinda strange cause it's always summer here lol

Thank's for the advice, Duke. I'm gonna have to hit you up when I get in (a little over a week, btw) and perhaps meet up at the mall.
