I'm gonna go against the trend and say stop getting fashion advice from magazines. Find an actor that has similar facial features and hair color to you, now google him and see how he dresses when he's not on the red carpet or in some fashion magazine.
The fact is, celebs and models get paid to wear those clothes in magazines and generally aren't he clothes they wear on a day too day basis, so while they may seem fashionable, it's better to find a celeb you look like the most and go off what he wears day to day casual.
