New Style Here - First Post!

Post by Leirbag »

Hello Bravohood fellow members, I'm a member from Stylelife, and I'm really looking for a new style, so I REALLY need any tips. I got some pics with a few acessories and a leather jacket I just bought, please, don't hold back words to tell me your opinion.

I also need tips about a new haircut, I'll probably have my hair cut this week.

Thanks in advance,
Leirbag

PS: Sorry for a few pics, my cell phone camera is horrible.

i don't think the polo shirt look is a good luck for you. try a collared dress shirt for dress up, and just a simple t shirt for casual.

the leather jacket seems like trying to portray a "bad boy" type image, but doesn't really seem congruent with the rest of your look. also, leather jackets CAN be seen as outdated. some guys can pull them off, but i think most guys that rock out leather jackets are guys that think they are doing something cool, but really they're not.

hard to tell from the pics, but seems like some of your clothes may be running a bit big. you don't have to wear tight clothes, but you need to wear clothes that fit you properly. baggy is not at all cool, sexy or attractive. not saying your clothes looked baggy, but some of the angles seem like you could go a size smaller.

what is on the necklace you have on? can't really get a good look at it. what is the description and do you have some DHV stories that go along with it?

i don't have a problem with the hair. seems like can probably do lots of different things with it as far as spiking or messy look or whatever. i think the hair is fine as is.

Grow your hair out. Facial and head. The jacket looks too big on you. I love leather jackets. I have one and it's the shit. I can pull it off with my look, and it fits me almost tight. So the clothes must fit well and give your hair some space to grow.

go to a macy's, nordstrom, guess, or bloomingdales and ask a girl to help you pick out clothes, you'll be flirting and learning.

Ditch the polo shirt and never wear it under a leather jacket.
I would say either get a professional haircut and give her complete control or ditch the hair all together, but definitely grow the facial hair.

Don't have a necklace hanging out of a collared shirt, it becomes quite obvious you're trying to show it off. it looks good with the t-shirt though. ditch the wristband for a watch.

because it's gold and more flashy then silver, you could even tuck it in, some girls might ask what's on it and be curious.

Alright, thanks everyone.

About my necklace, it's a small book with japanese writing on it, it says Jisso Emmankasei, which means "True Image, Harmony and Perfection". It's from a phylosophy I follow(Seicho-no-ie), so I guess I have a few DHV ready to use with it(not a routine, though).

Here are two other pics from last night. Guess my hair wasn't that good.

I'd need a few "style" tips, like what could I pull off, I mean, I have thought about the "bad boy" style but let's face it, it's not congruent. What could be a good style for me?

Since you've got a DHV story attached to it, I'd keep it out as it's a simple form of peacocking that will differentiate you from the other guys in the club and give you a lead into a conversation direction, much like how KingOfAces uses mardi gras beads. Girls will be curious about it since you're blatantly showing it off, so make sure your story is solid.

Quick tip: type up your DHV story and post it in a different thread so we can all read through it and help you tighten it up, make it more interesting, and ensure that it hits as many of the attraction switches (preselection, leader of men, etc.) as possible.

Your hair looks greasy as hell, unless you live in Jersey, you need to change products. All the shirts you are wearing are way too big. Consider getting contacts.

big shirts, one thing I learned from Bravo, don't flick off the camera or peace sign or throw up hand signals and stuff. for now I would stick with t-shirts till you get some clothes that fit well and a hair cut, no harm in wearing hat/beanies etc.

I have to agree about the hair product. It looks way to shiny bro, I used axe whatever, worked pretty good, but definitely get a hair cut, you can get it styled easily.
